how can you add syfy to apple tv 3?

Is there a way to add syfy to apple tv 3 that is not jail broken? Or should I get a apple tv 2 that is jail broken? When I first got the apple tv, I could get hulu, not plus and a lot of other programs....then I restated it and it wiped ever thing out....but is there a way to add programs to a apple tv 3?
