I just got a new macbook pro 13 in 2.6 Ghz and my photos are in a WD hard drive. It has a 3.0 USB and i open the iPhoto from my hard drive and trying to make a photo album book. I have a lot of photos, but with a new mac book pro i will figure it will be a lot faster and i also delete all the face recognition assuming that will help. Is there anything else i can do to speed up the photos?
