Each person has different needs so everyone is different.

Money is an issue with buying a phone. I was set on getting a 64 gig Iphone 6. However, I really dislike the idea of spending so much on a phone. $299+$100 (Apple Care), say $40 for a case.

$465 total with taxes for those three items. Trade in my iphone 5, and it takes $100 off. So $365.

If I go for the 16gig option, it'll be $359 after taxes. But if I trade in my Iphone 5 it'll be $259. A $206 price difference. $206 I can use for something else.

Currently I have 2.8 gigs free. That's with one movie, some music and pictures and apps.

I only have a few songs on my phone. I use spottily and Pandora for my music.

Videos take up 3.6gig. I have two movies but rotate them around.

Photos currently take 1.3 gig but once I transfer them over there will only be a few left.

    Spotify takes up 474MB,

Microsoft Word Takes up 460MB (This will not be on the iphone 6 most likely, I don't use it hardly.
    Facebook uses 211 MB
Chrome uses 157 MB (wont be going on the iphone 6, I haven't really found a "pro" to use it).
    Music uses 131
    Google Drive uses 104.

Other Apps and Games that I use take up 1.7 Gig. I back up my pictures to my PC and to the cloud.

My trade in value at both my carrier and the Apple Store is going down, I would really like to use that and be done. I don't really trust craigslist. What do you guys think?

It's going to come down to getting the phone and then getting Applecare before the 30 days is up. Or do nothing and wait until income tax season, but I'd rather use that money for something else.

Go with 64 gb. It is better to have the space and not need it, than need the space and not have it. Not to mention with high res screens and cameras, apps and everything are only getting larger. Don't want to end up like some who can't install an OS update because you don't have enough space.

Go with the 64 or the 128, or you will likely be caught in storage prison, and not be able to expand and grow your phone! It's nice to have the freedom to download anything you want, within reason and not worry about storage restrictions!! For example, I bought the iPad Air last spring, 32GB and I'm already getting pinned down on downloading options, due to limited storage! I will never buy anything less than a 64 again. If I can't afford the extra 100, I will wait till I can. Just my opinion!

Watch out. Some first made iPhone 6 128gb have issues with flash storage once they get too full.

I agree with this. I,ll be getting an iPhone6 before the end of the month. I had the same concerns about storage.
I am going to go with the 64 gb. I like the idea of having the extra space just in case.
I have money concerns myself but I just think for me this will be the best bet.

    64GB would work for you.
However you can't go wrong with the 128GB. The more the better.
Not having to worry whether you have enough storage or not is the best. I always try and get the product that has the most capacity.
