    To my knowledge iOS devices are not capable of connecting to Chromecast.

    Certain iOS apps do have chromecast support built in. Safari isn't one of them. OP-do a search for chromecast in the AppStore. Maybe their is an app which can replace safari for whatever you are trying to do.

    Not necessarily l. Google has an API for the chromecast that app developers can include.
