How do I re-download purchased songs on iTunes?

Can't re-download purchased songs on itunes

When i go on purchased and then music on itunes, the album i have brought before does not show up in the 'on this iphone' and 'not on this iphone' category. But when i search for the album and click on it, it comes up as purchased on there but i can't download it.

Happens sometimes when content is pulled - permanently or temporarily by the content owner...
