How long does it take to download iOS 8.1 for iPhone6?

how long does it take to download ios 8.1 for iphone6 ....??

My Icloud drive is locked....not receiving mail, cannot access some apps. I am in process of downloading IOS 8.1, but things just seem to be cranking along. It has been over an hour..........shouldn't it just take minutes to download?

If via iTunes, it will download the full iOS... if over the device via wifi, it will download the updated files only, and shouldn't take very long.

Welcome to iMore! Back up and start from the beginning. What has happened? What do you mean by iCloud Drive is locked? It should not take that long. If your wifi is real slow it might. But what's all that other about?
