Dislike google's forced location extension in search mode
I'm an American and purchased my computers, iPads etc...in the US and purchase on-line, often shipping goods to my US home. But I live overseas at the moment, and my google browser insists on adding an extension to my search URLs that automatically transfers me to the local google, even when I type in google US, or request no extension. The result is that some commercial sites don't allow me to browse since they don't service overseas, in other sites I get costs in local currency when I need it in dollars, or I get local news when I really want US news. How do I stop the geographic extensions?
