I have no issues with Siri creating a calendar event, but I'd like to be able to also set an alert. Otherwise it does not serve a purpose.

You need to set a General Calendar alert that will apply to all future entries

Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Alert Times located down in the Calendar section and set it where you want it

I prefer to have the default Calendar alert set to None in Settings. Given that, is there a way to have Siri create a calendar event with an alert? I tried:

Create calendar event Watch TV at 4 pm tomorrow alert 2 hours before

... but that just creates a calendar event at 2 pm.

    Thanks.
