How do I remove the recently updated apps list? It drives me nuts lol. Can I delete them manually?

I think it's a combination of number of updates and number of days so it won't be the same for everyone... my list presently goes back to 12/8... and I have 15 items...

14 days I think. They're there for the benefit of those who use auto app update. They can go to the App Store and see what's been updated recently. They would otherwise not know.
