Why can't I receive calls from some people?

Cannot receive calls from some people.

I don't get a missed call notice either.i do not have voicemail and callers say that the line just goes silent after ringing my number.

Sounds like an issue you need to take up with your carrier... could be a tower issue where you are, or something in their network switch.
