Why don't I have an internet connection?

no internet connection

I've followed all instructions about the problem of no internet connection except for one. I'm not sure about what to unplug - the power cord on the modem or the power cord on the WiFi box. Can somebody help me with this? I'd like to be able to use my iPad2 again.

the wifi box... unplug for 30 seconds to a minute - plug it in again.
