If you are really thinking of going that generation, go for the better of the two, the 5S.

Definitely choose the 5s. Solid build quality, perfect on hand, sits flat on surfaces, it's fast, camera is excellent. Just my opinions of course.

I'm gonna be the odd man out here. I've owned 2 5s devices and if faced with buying a 5c or 5s, I'd still choose the 5c again. I just really felt like there was something amazing about that device.

So for me, if you're not getting the 6, I'd vote 5c.

Get the 5s, the 5c is basically the iPhone 5 repackaged with plastic.

If money is an issue then yes I would choose the iPhone 5C because it is less expensive; however the iPhone 5S is a better phone.

5S for sure. Nicer build. Better camera & flash. TouchID. 64-bit A7 chip and M7 motion coprocessor.

Between the two, 5S for sure. The 5C was just a "replacement" for the regular 5 - it has the same internals, just a colorful outer shell and isn't even made out of the same high-quality materials on the outside that Apple is known for. Go with the 5S for sure. You will get a far superior build-quality phone, with upgraded internals!
