    i am new to mac and apple. i worked on photos and graphic art on PCs using a program called photoplus 6. how can i work on photos with my mac yosemite with similar editing power ? i tried downloading photo plus but it won't work on a mac
    I like to edit pictures intensively, need a program (free) to use that works on my new mac yosemite
    Is there a program already built in ? What do people use to edit photos ?

    Not free, but I use Photoshop Elements and Pixelmator. For very light tweaking, I have used the editor within iPhoto, as well. iPhoto is a part of OS X, so there is no additional cost. But it is far from a full-fledged image editing program.
