Apple tv update won't load. What should I do?

It says, "apple tv update was not successful. try again later." It has been saying that for several days. I click ok and it comes back to the same screen. I just got it a couple of weeks ago and it worked for several days and then did this. I can't find anything that helps with this.

Unplug the power cord from the back of your device for a few minutes and then plug it in. Try the OTA update again.
