Has the iOS 7 improved?

iOS 7 and iPhone 4

I have a 4 and all my app updates need iOS 7. Should I just hang on to iOS 6 or upgrade? I have read several cons to upgrading like low battery life. Everything I read was early in the iOS 7 release. Is it still the general feeling to stick with 6 if you just have an iPhone 4?

If all your apps are requiring iOS 7 then how functional is your phone really? You could always upgrade and pick up a battery case if that becomes an issue
