    I don't use many of the apple apps and cannot delete some apps. So whenever there is a iCloud backup I shortage of space it is very irritating to delete some of my favorite apps. Also I don't want to spend money to buy more storage what to do?

    The apps themselves are not included in iCloud backups. Just the apps' data. If you don't use them, there will be little to no data associated with the app. So default Apple apps are not what is taking space in your iCloud backup. More likely culprits are photos, videos you took, and Messages.

    Delete some photos, videos, and music instead. That is what is clogging up your iCloud back ups. Your options are;

    1. Delete photos, videos, and music.
    2. Back up to your computer instead of iCloud.
    3. Buy more iCloud storage.
