    I noticed many posts about this issue but no real answers. I didn't really use my ipad for music or movies until this week when i signed up with comcast for movies on demand. volume at the loudest setting is barely audible. help!

    1. Is anything covering the speaker?
    2. Can you use earphones while watching your movies?
    3. This is a long shot, but go to Settings - Music and then make sure that "Volume Limit" is turned off.
    4. If you think it's a hardware issue, make a genius bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store to have them diagnose the problem for you.

    Welcome to iMore! If the iPad mini has Hearing Aid Mode in Accessibility, toggle it on. It helped the volume of our iPhones.
