    looks like one must download stuffs from iTunes always why?
    what if someone has no wifi connection or cannot afford a long lasting data plan.

    If you can't afford a data plan, you can't afford a smartphone and shouldn't have purchased one.

    iTunes has many great apps. Many great ones are free. But unless you can afford to use a lot of data, you do need wifi. That's just how it is with any smartphone.
