As an old mainframer, I recall how IBM perfected the concept of software-generated hardware sales, i.e., that option requires a dedicated server. So Apple's taking a similar approach and, as many know, convenience is king. Retailers aren't dumb. If they see money flowing, they'll follow. Like you said,mist a no brainet.
