I'm looking for a way to extend the functionality of Spotlight. As it is, it's only a slightly useful search function to directly open a result, e.g. a document or webpage. A little known option is to click in the results list on the heading section for the result group to open a Finder window with a "search this mac" results list.
    Still only slightly useful.
I want, directly from the initial search list, to be able to right-click for additional options, e.g. send to trash (files & browser history items), share via email/messages etc (in the case of files), show enclosing folder, tag, copy, etc etc...
    Any ideas???

Contact Apple and let them know.......In the meantime, use the Spotlight feature as it is currently designed.
