Since adding new contact on my 4s - iOS 8.1.1, why doesn't the keyboard come up?

On adding new contact on my 4s - ios 8.1.1 - the keyboard does not come up

I try to add a new contact and there is no keyboard to punch in the data??? anybody else with same problem

Did you press your finger within a text field?
