I added my new iPhone already but pictures from the old iPhone did not transfer, why?

I added my new i phone already but pictures from the old i phone did not transfer.

I backed up the 4s. and added new phone. I could not remember. My I tunes password was not recognized.

They'll only transfer if you restored from backup & you can only do that if you have your password. Once you remember your password, you'll be able to restore from that backup & have all your pics.
