I purchased a banking app on my phone and now that I have gotten married, I want to share the app with my husband so that we can better keep track of our family finances. Can you share apps purchased prior to setting up family sharing? If so, how does your family access them? How can you find out if the app is eligible for sharing?

Assuming you have set up Family Sharing, in the iPhone that didn't buy it, go to the Updates tab in the App Store, then Purchases. There you will see "My Purchases" and Family Purchases. Select the family member who purchased it, then find and download the app.

As far as finding out if the app is eligible, search in the App Store or iTunes. It will say where it lists things like iOS version and device compatibility
