Why have all of my sounds except the ringer gone away?

All of my sounds except the ringer has gone away.

All of my alert sounds have gone away. Do not disturb is not on-I turned it off and back on but I no longer have any alert sounds. Thanks-Wayne

Do a hard reset by holding down the power button and home button at the same time until the screen goes dark

Also check the ringer switch located on the left side of your device
