I don't know why YOU have 2 Facebook icons on your phone. Can you not delete one of them by tapping and holding on one of the icons until they all start jiggling, and then tap on the "X"?

Reboot the phone or remove the app by going in to Settings > General > iPhone Storage; Show All. Uninstall completely from there. Before you do a reinstall be sure your wifi connection is strong.

It's not actually on your phone twice, just one icon is cached.

After Doing Some Reading,To Eliminate The Extra Icon In the Dock(Which In IOS 11 Has Allowed It To Show The 3 Most Recent Used Apps)..Just Go To Settings>>>General>>>Multitasking and Dock....And Turn Off The Switch Next To Show Suggested And Recent Apps...If You Want The Function Back..Just Go Back Into Setting

After Doing Some Reading,To Eliminate The Extra Icon In the Dock

To be specific, that's for the iPad dock and not the iPhone. The iPhone does not have Multitasking and Dock settings. This thread is referring to the iPhone.
