I had songs stuck on my music app on my 5s, I removed all music through settings and under storage the music app says no data, however there are still the same songs on my phone? I can't swipe to remove them and they still play and are still visible even though it says no data. Thoughts?

Good luck with that one. Had this happen numerous times. I had to wipe the phone and spent hours on the phone and in the Apple Store and have never gotten an answer on this issue.

Same problem, I love my phone but have had this problem off and on for years!! For example I happen to like having only songs I want to hear on my phone, so I can just turn on shuffle for everything and enjoy it all. During Christmas I add my Christmas music, then remove it after New Years. I just tried to do that on one of my devices, the Christmas music is still there. So I decided to remove all music, iTunes said it did. Yet when I open the music app it lists over 2,000 songs on my phone!! iTunes thinks they are gone, so now if I try to add music. I get duplicates. This seems like it should be easy to fix, they do make the iPod. Of course since I don't own an iPod it may have the same problem. I really would like a none nuclear solution......
