Why am I getting error messages when I try to restore my Apple TV?

When trying to restore AppleTV on my computer it says: the apple TV 'Apple TV' could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (2008).

1. Make sure you're using the latest version of iTunes.
2. Make sure your computer and/or ATV is connected to the internet.
3. Try a different computer
4. Keep trying.
