Free music downloader app wont play music on new Iphone 6

Got a new Iphone 6 today and backed up the apps including a music downloader, tried to play the songs but they remain on pause.

Have you tried rebooting the device? Are you trying to play the music via the native music player or a player associated with the music downloader? If the latter, had it been updated for the iPhone 6 or the latest iOS version?
