Using iPhone as USB key

Hi all, I'm a former android user who just bought an iPhone 6+. I frequently used my old phone as a USB key to transfer files to a computer I use that is off line. Is this possible to do with an iPhone?

I also use a few of my palm phones for USB backup but the iphone will not let you directly access the storage thru windows Explorer

You need to be online to use Dropbox.

Not possible,eh. That's what I suspected. So it's back to carrying a thumb drive on my key chain.

Check out an app named "USB Disk Pro". It might do what you need.

I gotta ask, with a smartphone when you are not "online" that you couldn't use cloud storage?

I use this in conjunction with Dropbox. I sync files to good reader so that the files sit on my iPhone and in dropbox. Files are then available off-line if there is no Internet connection
