Why is the iTunes logo and charger logo on my iPhone 5s?

the itunes logo an charger logo is on my iphone 5s

i was downloading the ios 8.1 and then the apple sign showed up on my screen then it brought up the iTunes logo and the charger logo what do i do please help me??????

It appears your phone is now in recovery mode. Plug your phone into your Mac or PC if you have one and you can restore it from there. Hopefully you have if backed up.
