What is this message I received on my iPad?

Received a msg on iPad mini

The message was: "your phone number is now being used for iMessage on a new iPhone" Any idea what this means? should I care? I do not have a new iPhone, but rather a 4S and the txt abilities show both on my iPad Mini and the 4S.

Might want to go to your iCloud account and check how many devices are listed.
Have you made any changes?
