I need to record the date and time on photos I'm taking on my iPad. How am I able to do this please?

I am not aware of a way to put a date/time stamp on a photo with the stock camera app. There may be some 3rd party apps that do.

Searching the App store for "Date & time photo stamp" returns a good list of apps - some free, some paid.

The photos get exilf data added to them. So if you pull them off to a computer the time and date should be in that info.
