Comcast offers Norton antivirus software as part of your package. Should I install it on my Mac?

I have been using mine for close to a year with not anti virus. Most here will say you don't need one. You just need to watch what you install.

As for Norton personally I would put that on a PC I was throwing away.

I have been using macs for 17 years...no anti-virus ever installed on my machines!

No anti-virus on any of my Macs. It’s unnecessary, IMHO.

Hmm I've owned 3 Macs in 8 years and I've never used one. Never had an issue either.

Plus I've been using Macs all of my life and have never known any of them to have an antivirus software. I know my mom never bought one. Lol
