Why Bluetooth Earpiece disconnects from phone once answered?

I've installed the latest update as of Monday and part of it was to fix the Bluetooth problem. As of yet it hasn't fixed it for me. I-Phone 6 128gb black. The only thing I have found thru another forum is to set "Call Audio Routing" from Automatic to Headset.
I can listen to music ( Pandora ) while walking and hearing every 5 minutes my progress ( RunKeeper ) all thru the bluetooth earpieces ( I have 3 different kinds and they all do it ) or not have them on....It really doesn't matter....And as soon as the phone rings and connect for answering...On the earpiece or phone answer button - it really doesn't matter...It will disconnect from the phone. For now having the setting on "Headset" works, but really think I shouldn't have to change the setting.
What say you and thank you for taking the time to read, review and respond.

That's interesting. I have a 6+ and haven't experienced any issues. Have you tried rebooting your device?

Edit: it could also be an issue with your backup. I restored my device as new when I updated.
