how long your iphone 6 charged first time????

i bought my iphone 6 yesterday and now it is charging for 2 hours and it isn't charging the battery is still red

I don't know the answer beyond checking the connection, and the power outlet, but I have a suggestion for troubleshooting. I have an app called Accura which has a graphic which shows if your phone is actively charging or not. Additionally, it shows how long a recharge would take. I've used it to tell if my car charger is working, and once to detect a USB port on my laptop which wasn't working (reboot fixed it). Have you tried a hard reset on your phone?

I'd say that's an issue. Is the outlet working? Cable?
