Where is the volume in the Yosemite operating system?

where is the volume in yosemite operating system?

it's not on the tool bar anymore! i'm on google and I used to be able to turn up the volume easily - but i don't see the icon...any ideas?

System Preferences > Sound, check 'show volume in menu bar'

I don’t use the Volume icon.

F10 = Mute/unmute
F11 = Decrease volume
F12 = Increase volume
