Can I use one finger to unlock my phone and another for ApplePay?

I am concerned about the security of using my thumb print for ApplePay but like to convenience of using it for unlocking my phone. Can I use my thumb print to unlock my phone but a different finger to authorize ApplePay?

You can add up to five fingerprints but you cant decide what print is used for which.
