Yosemite is 5.16. GB. I started at 2:25 yesterday and still downloading this program. I am only at 2.60 GB now. Why didn't they put this huge program on a disk for us to buy and install? Anyone heard from Apple about this?

I downloaded the update in about 45 minutes. I would look in to your connection speeds and possibly talk to your internet service provider long before thinking it is Apple's fault.

Exactly! Heck it took me less than 45 minutes.

I’ve downloaded Yosemite 3 times. None of the download were more than about 30-35 minutes. Check your internet connection/provider. Or feed the squirrels.

Last I checked, Yosemite was showing at 5 days. 😯

Seriously? I attempted(and gave up) to download it on a 2mbps connection and it showed 4 hours at the most.
