Sorry to ask what could be a dumb question, but I figured I would start at square one....is wifi on your iPad switched "on"?
Try resetting your Network Settings:
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Then reboot the router(s). Finally, restart your iPad (Home and Sleep/Wake button until you see the Apple logo).
