Why aren't my Mail programs not starting?

Mail program does not start

Since Friday the mail program on my iPad 2 running iOS8.0.2 has stopped working
it starts to load but then disappears
I have tried rebooting, Deleting all my accounts and re entering them
Nothing works
Any suggestions

Since you have done all the right things so far I might suggest you tether to iTunes, Do a manual backup. Set up as NEW and then restore from your backup you made and see if that works, You may even want to delete the mail acct. first in case that is the issue and you don't include it in your backup. Good luck.
