Why isn't my Gmail Inbox synching with my iPad and PC?

Gmail Inbox not synching with iPad and PC

After upgrading my iPhone 5s to 8.0.2, my Gmail unread badge shows 249 unread emails. I have read these mails on other devices (iPad and PC) and moved them to folders, but they still show in my iPhone Inbox as unread. Why ?

Hello there!
Sometimes this issues are fixed by simply deleting the gmail account and re-adding it, gmail and Apple has been known to not work like we all would want it to, but it's not impossible to fix it. Try it (if you haven't yet) and see if that works.
