Is there a way to simply add pics to my iPad from my PC w/out overwriting the current pics?

Hello, but i could not find clear info about adding photos to an ipad from PC using itunes 12.

I do not want to sync....as it deletes then rewrites same photos when I only want to add more photos to what i have on ipad now.

I have 1200 pics on this ipad and need to add another 300. Is there anyway to simply add the folder with the 300 pics to the ipad without rewriting the other 1200 again?

I dont use itunes at all, just helping out a family member.

Granted, I don't use a PC, but I've read that you can simply do a drag and drop maneuver to transfer photos back and forth via your i-Device and your PC. I've never done it, and what I've heard could be wrong. Hopefully, members who use a PC will chime in soon.
