I have an ipod touch (one of the first generations) and clumsily I dropped it, I thought it would crack but instead its flickering. I can see what I click on etc. but its like a ghostly white faded effect, added to that its flickering and keeps "bringing up" parts of the screen constantly and quickly!
what can I do to fix it?!
    please help!!!!

Your best bet is to get it repaired if possible. Go to an Apple Store and see what they can do.

Sounds like the screen is messed up, both the led and touch sections. I agree, your best bet is to get repaired.
