My Ipad has stopped connecting to the internet but my Iphone is working well so when I checked the settings between the two, I noticed that the IP address was different on the Ipad from the Iphone. Since the Iphone works I think I should try to change the Ipad to match.

If you're connected to a wireless network, each device will have a separate IP address. In regard to your iPad no longer connecting to the internet (I assume via Wi-Fi), try the following.

    1. Reboot the iPad
    2. Go to Settings - General - Reset and then select "Reset Network Settings".
    3. Go to Setting Wi-Fi, tap on the wireless connection, and then select "Forget this Network". Afterwards, reconfigure the iPad to join the network.
