My ipod closes an app for no reason and will not open

Recently I've downloaded an app and after I've updated to ios 8.02 it does not open all the way and force closes itself. I've deleted it and re-downloaded it multiple times along with resetting my apps what can I do? Please help!

What iPod do you have? Did you do an OTA update?
