Why aren't my reminders not automatically syncing in iOS 8.0.2?

Reminders not automatically syncing in ios8.0.2

My reminders no longer update from iPhone to iPad without a manual sync using the Calendar app. Both phones are using the same account and user ID, and both have the setting turned on under iCloud. Both are also using Sync all reminders and the same default list under the "Reminders" tab in Settings. All other apps (notes, etc.) seem to be updating properly. Any thoughts?

Is your iPad an older one? I seem to be seeing the same thing on my iPad 3 Retina. Let me check around and see if this is an issue. I thought this was something isolated to my devices.
