Why does my iBook app keep closing?

I updated to iOS 8.02 and now when ever I go into iBook the app closes after about 10 seconds! Ive tried rebooting my iPhone and turning it off nothing is working! Help!

try uninstalling the app and then reinstalling- anything previously purchased can be re-downloaded

If they are on iOS 8 iBooks cannot be deleted because it is now one of the stock apps.
