Why won't my iCloud allow me to back up all of my mail/contacts/calendars and tasks options?

iCloud will not allow back up of mail/contacts/calendars and tasks option

I logged in and out of iCloud on my laptop as the photos were not syncing. Logged back in and the photos are now syncing from my iPhone.

Now, I cannot get mail/contacts/calendars and tasks option to work. The error message is
"incorrect username or password"

I am using my Apple ID and Log in which are correct as I have double checked in iTunes and on my iPhone 5.

It allows me to log in just fine on the iCloud but will not perform the above back up.

Am using Outlook 2007.

Have logged in and out several times.
Please help?

It sounds as if you're typing the wrong password. Are you sure you're using the password for your iCloud account and not the password for your device?
