How do I delete individual messages from a conversation?

How do I delete individual messages from a conversation. in IOS 7 I just held the message and a more sign came up. I just ticked the message I wanted to delete and that was it. In IOS 8 this option is no longer available. All that comes up is delete all and the whole conversation is deleted.

Deleting individual messages

Press & hold the message you want to delete & select more. The message you selected should have a check mark next to it & there should be a trashcan in the bottom left corner. When you hit the trashcan it will only delete the messages you have selected.
