IOS 8.02 problem with freezing

When I type my password into the phone it goes directly to the phone call screen and freezes. Any suggestions on how to get it to stop? I have rebooted my phone and have the latest update.

Welcome to iMore! Can you please explain exactly what you do and what happens? Where are you when you enter your password? What do you mean by "phone call screen"? It goes to the phone app?

One question did you do an OTA update or using iTunes? And did you restore from a back up or set up as new?
